For the past two years we have had the pleasure of sending our little one to Poet’s Corner Academy where her love for learning has expanded by the guided hands of the Wonderful teachers there. We will cherish the memories and will be back when our second little is ready for school!

My daughter Rowan was fortunate to attend Poet’s Corner Academy for two years from 2020 to 2022. She truly loved the experience and thrived in the caring environment provided by Nasrin. I was very impressed by Nasrin’s gentle and fun approach to learning while meeting each child at his or her level. My daughter came away from Poet’s Corner ready and confident to start kindergarten.

We found Ms. Nasrin through a recommendation from another family, and from the moment we met her in person, we felt the warmth of both the space and her heart. The program had our kiddo feeling confident in her skill development, socialization, and problem-solving skills. We loved the small group setting and attended the preschool program for two years, as we truly valued the strong sense of community created by Nasrin and her team.

When I enrolled my son at Poet’s CornerAcademy two years ago I had no idea how much he would come away with. Nasrin provides a nurturing and enriching environment for her students and is so welcoming of the parents. We were very fortunate to get a spot in Poet’s Corner Academy for our youngest son. I did not know very much about the Montessori approach but after meeting Miss Nasrin and touring her preschool I knew immediately it would be a wonderful and enriching environment for our son. Miss Nasrin is one of the most loving, patient and kind individuals I’ve met and she treats every child with respect and kindness. Our son adores Miss Nasrin and he loved attending school. We have two older children that attended different preschools and we were amazed at how much our son learned during his two years at Poet’s Corner. Miss Nasrin fostered a love of learning in our son that he carried with him into kindergarten, and he is well-equipped for elementary school. We are incredibly grateful for the encouragement and opportunities that Poet’s Corner Academy provided our son.

My son attended Poet’s Corner Academy for two years from 2016 until 2018. Nasrin runs a beautiful preschool. The environment she has created in her home is warm, welcoming, and stimulating to little minds. My son loved arriving at her space, shaking her hand to say hello, and running inside to play with his friends and the myriad of toys that were available to him. We loved the fact that Nasrin allowed only 10 students into her classroom. Just 10 students was such a perfect way to introduce my son to the world. He would come home every day excited about learning something new. Nasrin did a great job of using many tools to teach the children about animals, countries and, of course, the leaning tower of Pisa (my son’s favourite). Thank you Nasrin! We miss you already.

Nasrin has a gentle way about her that kids are naturally drawn to and respect. She is unfaltering in her attention, with an amazing ability to really ‘see’ and ‘hear’ each child. My daughter simply loved Nasrin: Nasrin fostered my daughter’s sense of curiosity with laughter and nurtured her with kindness and support. I was simply amazed at how much she learned so quickly – from letters to numbers to music to French.
With two kids and a few moves under our belt, I have experience with several pre-schools and can tell you that this is – without question – the best school and teacher that our family has experienced. Nasrin provides a loving, supportive, active and fun education for children in the warmth of a small home environment.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Poet’s Corner Academy. The environment has been designed to promote creative learning, providing both structure and freedom for the children. Nasrin, the instructor, is the heart of Poet’s Corner Academy, and the care and attention she gives to each child as well as to the program as a whole is phenomenal. We have been so impressed with the growth we have seen in our child while attending Jellybean, both academically as well as socially. Ms Nasrin and Poet’s CornerAcademy have been a part of our family’s life for over 5 years now. Our last child just finished preschool there and it was very sad to say the least. Both our son and daughter attended and our son who is going into grade 3, still talks about the wonderful experience he had there. Ms Nasrin becomes a part of your family as she cares for your children, like they were her own. The school offers much in the way of a small class environment and gently guidance with each child’s own individual learning needs. With the mix of music class, French class and an introduction into reading, math etc, it is never boring. It is a perfect mix of education in a home environment and free play in the wonderful back yard. We can’t say enough good things about the experiences our children have had and will remember throughout their lives. Thanks again Ms Nasrin!

I just want say I am so happy with the care and attention you gave to both of my children. I know my eldest was not the “easiest’ and you were always so patient and kind with him. My husband and I appreciate that more than you know. Thank you for helping us with the tough decisions we had to make with him; and for filling out all of those forms for us.

When our son turned three, we began searching for the right preschool — and after visiting several, we knew Poet’s Corner Academy was the perfect fit. Ms. Nasrin’s dedication, well-organized classroom, and creative activities made a lasting impression. Choosing a preschool for your child can be overwhelming. When they are so young, it’s difficult to know what style is the right fit. Initially, I considered Poet’s Corner Academy because it is in our neighbourhood, I had heard great things from friends, and I was curious about the Montessori program. When Ms. Nasrin invited me for a visit I knew right away this was where I wanted my daughter to start her journey in school. In fact, i was so impressed by Ms. Nasrin and her school that I wanted to go back to preschool myselfl!! Joking aside, Ms. Nasrin is the most warm, loving, kind, patient, funny and knowledgeable educator I’ve met. She truly enjoys children and cares about each child as an individual and is able to adapt to their needs with ease. After two years in Ms. Nasrin’s preschool program, my daughter started kindergarten more prepared and excited about learning than I could have ever imagined. I am forever grateful to Nasrin and her wonderful team for giving her the best start possible. We miss you!

We felt like we won the lottery when our daughter was able to join Poet’s Corner for preschool. She absolutely thrived in the calming, nurturing, inspiring atmosphere Nasrin has created. Nasrin has a gift of getting children excited about learning and preparing them for all aspects of Kindergarten. From learning to make eye contact to learning to read, our daughter has come out of preschool with confidence, pride and a great group of friends.
